I LOVE it!

Not only does it work very quickly, but it's also very quiet (compared to my last one) I use it at least two to three times a week, filling the catcher twice each time.

It makes perfect sized small chunks for all my beverages and if I wanted to eat just the ice, it is the perfect size for that too. (I'm sure I will this summer)

The large capacity compartment is a blessing, as I can crush so much between emptying and refilling. At least 10 tray's at a time.

As with other reviews, you must not fill your ice tray's to max or cubes will be too large and it WILL jam, just fill with less water. The name does say "Professional" so I am assuming it was not necessarily made for the large ice-cube tray's from the home freezer. (un-jamming was not a problem, I just pressed down a little on the cubes in the unit)

Owned it for a couple months now and wouldn't trade it for anything!



The ice crusher worked very well for just over a year using it
every other day or so to crush 3 to 4 regular trays of ice cubes.
After that time it failed because the nylon drive bar had
rounded off and could not push the ice breaking teeth thru
the ice cubes. I had to purchase a new unit and reduce the
ice cubes to half their size and hope the unit will last longer.



This machine crushes ice fast and with little noise, compared to other machines I've used. My wife and I use it several times every day and have had no issues. Ice crushes to about 1/2 inch chips. The best Ice crusher you'll find for the price.

This works great! Crushes ice faster than we ever could have thought. A little noisy, but works great!


I'm yet another ice chomper and have been hand crushing ice with one of those Swing A Way crushers for years. I can't tell you how grateful I am to have found a machine that does it for me and makes the ice in just the perfect size for chomping. I love it!!! The ice does get stuck if you put too much in at a time, but if you put it in slowly, it does fine. I highly reccommend this ice crusher.


Was going to purchase a cheaper one, which I'm glad I didn't. This one chops ice fast and without any problems. The noise isn't much either. Never jams and takes a whole tray of ice at one time and it's done so fast. It gets used everyday, as my husband loves ice water. Just a terrific crusher, and can not say one bad thing about it.


I love this ice Crushing machine.

I did not think it was possible to get a consumer grade unit that makes crushed ice anywhere close to the quality of a commercial grade machine. I purchased this unit to go along with a refrigerator that has filtered water and an ice maker that makes half-moon ice cubes.

The ice I get from this unit is as good as any ice I have ever tried. I chew ice all the time and am very happy with the size, consistency and over all quality. The area I live in does not have the best water and the only conditioning is a standard filter built in to the fridge.

I was purchasing a 20 lb bag of ice from the store and thought that the ice sticking together and hard texture was just the way all crushed ice is. I guess I was not used to having the crushed ice fresh from the crusher. Since with this unit, you put the ice in the freezer right away, it is not partially thawed and then refrozen, so it does not have this problem.

I read all the reviews for this unit and found that some people expect the machine to seamlessly process all the ice cubes after just putting them in the funnel, or they are looking for a Snow Cone machine and not just ice suitable for cold drinks. Also some people think using this machine is too time consuming. One thing you need to do is tend to the ice cubes so they will feed down the small hole at the bottom of the funnel. I just use a small rubber tipped spatula from a .99 cent store. You will not spend a lot of time crushing ice if you are just trying to keep up with your refrigerator ice maker, or just making enough to store in your freezer. Just making the ice in ice cube trays is more trouble than crushing it with this machine. I am very happy with the function and quality of this unit. At $80.00 this is an excellent value.



The product works, although if you feed it regular size ice cubes from a tray it tends to jam, we learned not to fill up the ice trays to the top.

Our unit failed at 13 months, one of the blades started slipping and would get jammed with the ice. I tried to find replacement parts on the Internet, but could not find a source and I suspect that even if I was able to find the replacement blade assembly it would be cost prohibitive.

Overall I could not recommend this product as I believe that one year's use for $80.00 is not worth it.


I read all the reviews and despite the claims that the ice crusher would jam up, this works exactly like it claims. It crushes ice quickly and it doesn't crush ice like snow cone ice. It is perfect for drinks and for ice beds. I sort of wish it didn't crush as small as it does, but it is still perfect. Ice can jam up in it if you feed it too quickly. I realize that most people would like to just fill the cup and walk away... but that is generally when that jamming occurs. If you can sort of feed the ice through a hand full at a time, it doesn't jam as much. And even feeding it through that way, it is stil extremely fast. It takes only a few minutes to fill the crushed ice holder at the bottom of the machine... and that is pretty big. The only other thing I would like is if there was a cover for the top. I don't use it every single day (more like every other day) so would like to prevent anything from blowing into the top.

If you like crushed ice, don't mind hand feeling the ice through, this is a good product. I suppose there might be an occasional unit that doesn't work, but this one does. I am veyr happy with my purchase.


This ice crusher works beautifully. It's larger than I expected it to be, but I do have room for it on my counter. The crushed ice comes out in a nice small size. I gave one to my mother, and she really likes it too.
