Just got it... Looks really nice. Made 1 loaf of bread so far following the recipe book and game out good. Has delay functions so you can have fresh bread when you get home, run it overnight, etc. So far would recommend.


I tried making wheat bread twice and sweet bread once. Something was off with the digital program because for one loaf it kept cycling back to knead over and over, while for another loaf it overbaked it. None of the three loaves rose properly or they rose and fell.

I called the company (Focus Electrics) and they are sending a new breadmaker. I hope it will work.


Used my new sparkly bread maker for 1 loaf. It came out great. Now when I go to make my next loaf it is dead. It won't turn on, no power. I am very frustrated. Amazon is sending me a replacement and I will try again!!


Made one basic white loaf. It was pretty good and quite simple, although more square in shape than I was hoping for. Tried to make a second (wheat) and it wouldn't start up (kept clicking like it was cycling but never began the initial cycle). Stopped and restarted several times to no avail, at which point I realized that the start/stop button wasn't functioning as it was supposed to. It's supposed to pause when you press it and stop when you hold it down, but it had no pause functionality. I shut it off and changed the selection from "wheat" to "basic" and it started, but after a few minutes it stalls out again and just sits there clicking. It's going back. I don't know if I'll get a replacement or a different model. I'm very sad as this was a "need to have this week" purchase due to food allergies.


This is my first bread machine. I made my first loaf this week and it came out great. So easy, just add ingredients and turn it on. Only thing I'm having trouble with, is adding ingredients. Directions say last 5 minutes of kneading add currants. I wish the instruction manual had a little more detail about the settings and timing.


I just love my new breadmaker. I had an old West Bend that quit working. I liked it so much I had to stay with West Bend. They make a quality product.


I bought this for my husband. He loves it and make bread several times a week.

He had the machine for less than a year when the machine started making a thumping noise, so he called cusomer service and put the phone next to the machine. They asked him to fax the receipt, then replaced the machine immediately.

Sometimes things break. No one can do anything about that, but this compny made the mistake good. Five stars for a great product and great folks in customer service. We will definately buy from them again.




I love this bread machine - can't stop making bread with it. So easy to use and the bread is so good!


I bought this after careful research on this site and several others. I love the breadmaker and its really easy to use. My cousin and I are looking forward to making jam soon. I don't plan to put bread on my grocery list for a long long time.


I received a bread maker as a gift and the one I got was defective so I did a little research and decided to upgrade to the west Bend. I am an avid healthy bread lover and this machine lets me make all the recipes that involve heavy kneading. It's a quiet machine and I have absolutely no complaints so far!
